Moriah Patashnik earned her Bachelor’s Degree in French and Sociology at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland before deciding to pursue a Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Women's Health at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. After graduation, Moriah worked at Planned Parenthood, where she had the privilege of providing patients with a wide range of sexual and reproductive health services. She thoroughly enjoyed her time at Planned Parenthood, but is thrilled to resume practicing in a setting where she is able to care for pregnant patients, as she previously worked as a doula. 

Moriah is passionate about contraceptive counseling and IUD/Nexplanon insertions, LGBTQ+ care, including transgender hormone therapy, prenatal care and education about pregnancy and birth, and caring for patients using a trauma-informed model of care. She also enjoys educating her patients about their bodies and discussing all aspects of personal and sexual health. Moriah provides her patients with evidence-based, equitable, holistic care that takes into consideration the unique life circumstances, identity, and preferences of each patient, and believes that healthcare should be a partnership between the patient and provider. 

Moriah is a Seattle native, and is thrilled to be back in the Pacific Northwest. In her spare time, she enjoys doing anything outdoors (cycling in particular), and spending time with her partner, toddler, and Australian Shepherd, Milo.
