Sarah became a certified nurse midwife because she values and supports pregnancy and birth as a normal process and knows childbirth is one of the most important times in a woman’s life. Sarah is board-certified and joined Seattle OB/GYN in 2014. She is enthusiastic about building compassionate relationships with her patients and providing quality, family-centered care. Her obstetric and gynecology care focuses on pregnancy, childbirth, contraception, STD screening and education, and preventative care. She truly enjoys educating and empowering women to be active participants in their health care decisions.
Sarah attended St. Lawrence University for her undergraduate degree and obtained her bachelor and master of nursing degrees from the University of Washington.
Sarah grew up in Shawnee Mission, Kansas and has lived in Seattle for over 20 years. Sarah has a husband and two boys of her own. She enjoys spending time with her family skiing, boating, biking and being outdoors. Sarah is also a triathlete and enjoys training for her next race.
